On a separate piece of paper, answer the following questions about the chords:
What is the difference between G and G7? (What does the 7 mean?)
Why is there an “m” in Em? (What does the m mean?)
What resources (specific websites or books) did you use to find the chord fingerings and answer the questions?
If you have extra time, look up how to play three more chords (chords you do not already know), write them down, and practice playing them.
Grading (show to students)
2 points for each correct chord fingering (7 chords) = 14 points total
3 points for comparison between G and G7 (must discuss two differences and be well-written)
3 points for Em question (must answer question) and be well-written
2 points for resources
